                       Quester VCT plc ('the Company')


The directors are pleased to announce that the Company made an allotment of
40,584 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company. This allotment was made on
18 June 2001 under its existing dividend reinvestment scheme, the terms of
which were circulated to shareholders on 28 September 2000.


It is expected that dealings will commence on Thursday 21 June 2001.
