Kingfisher plc - Voting Rights and Capital


In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 we
would like to notify the market of the following:


Kingfisher plc's issued capital as at today's date (20 December 2006) consists
of 2,358,831,478 ordinary shares including those 20,998,043 ordinary shares held
by Kingfisher plc under the Employee Share Ownership Plan Trust.


The total number of shares with voting rights in Kingfisher plc as at today's
date is 2,337,833,435.


The above figure (2,337,833,435) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Kingfisher plc under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
