Issue of Share Options

Kenmare Resources plc ('Kenmare' or 'the Company')

Kenmare Resources plc. has today issued share options, in accordance with the
terms of the Company Share Option Scheme, for a nominal consideration of IR£5,
to certain directors and staff over 3.1 million Ordinary IR5p Shares.  The
exercise price is Stg 15.5p.  These options include a clause whereby the
options will not be exercisable until the successful completion of the
definitive feasibility study and financing or commencement of implementation
of the Moma Titanium Project.

The directors and company secretary participate in this issue of options as
