                           Transaction in Own Shares


Jupiter Green Investment Trust PLC ('the Company') announces that it has today
purchased 362,089 of the Company's Ordinary shares at 89p per share for
cancellation.

Following this transaction the issued share capital of the Company is
39,181,676 shares of which 3,264,834 are held in Treasury.

For reporting purposes under FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules the market
should exclude any shares held in Treasury and should use the figure of
35,916,842 when determining if they are required to notify their interest in, or
a change to their interest in, Jupiter Green Investment Trust PLC.  As required
under Listing Rule 5.6.1AR the total voting rights of the Company following this
transaction is 35,916,842.
