                      Transaction in Own Shares


Jupiter Green Investment Trust PLC ('the Company') announces that it
has today purchased 2,411,885 of the Company's Ordinary shares at
81.75p per share to be held in Treasury.

Following this transaction the issued share capital of the Company is
44,348,404 shares of which 3,021,885 are held in Treasury.

For reporting purposes under FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules
the market should exclude any shares held in Treasury and should use
the figure of 41,326,519 when determining if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Jupiter
Green Investment Trust PLC.
