Transaction in Own Shares

Jupiter  Green Investment Trust PLC (`the Company') announces that it  purchased
237,963   of  the  Company's  Ordinary  shares  at  105.3312p  per   share   for
cancellation.

Following  this transaction the issued share capital with voting rights  of  the
Company is 46,700,031 shares.

The above figure (46,700,031) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the  calculations  by which they can determine if they are  required  to  notify
their  interest  in, or a change to their interest in, Jupiter Green  Investment
Trust PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
