REPLACEMENT LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT

JPMORGAN US SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

ISSUE OF SHARES

This announcement is made in replacement of 8160B released at 14.18 on 07 March 2014.

The full revised announcement is below. 

The JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Investment Trust Plc announces that today it issued 1,100,000 new Ordinary shares for cash at 164.12 pence per share, to satisfy market demand. 

Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 56,657,800 Ordinary shares.

Application has been made for the new Ordinary shares to be admitted to the premium segment of the Official List and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. It is expected that dealings in the new Ordinary shares will commence at 8.00 a.m. on 13^th March 2014.
