The following amendments have been made to the ' Transaction in Own Shares' announcement released on 17 August 2023 at 16:55 under RNS No 6923J .

The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is amended from 73,849,290 to 73,489,290.

All other details remain unchanged.

REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR TREASURY STOCK

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc purchased 12,460 ordinary shares into Treasury at 822 pence per share.

Following the transaction, the Company holds 25,984,561 ordinary shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 73,489,290. The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
