JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust plc announces that on 21 December 2017 it issued 150,000 new Ordinary shares for cash at 138.00 pence per share under its Ordinary share block listing facility. 

Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 296,839,438 Ordinary shares, including 49,277 shares held in Treasury.
