Appointment of New Director

The Board of JPMorgan Overseas Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Nigel Wightman as an independent non-executive Director of the Company, with effect from yesterday, 8 September 2010.

Mr. Wightman has over 30 years experience in the international asset management industry. He was, until recently, Chairman and Chief Executive of Titanium Asset Management. Prior to this, he served as managing partner of Parkfield Capital LLP, a UK investment advisory firm for 2 years. He was managing director of State Street Global Advisors Limited, an international fund management business for 8 years and also held other senior positions with State Street Bank. He worked for NM Rothschild Group for 11 years in senior roles in London and Hong Kong. He currently serves on the investment committees of the Royal Institute for International Affairs and Brasenose College Oxford.
