JPMORGAN EMERGING MARKETS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

('the Company')

TREASURY STOCK

On 3 November 2016, JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc purchased into Treasury 100,000 Ordinary shares at 744.22 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 6,639,224 ordinary shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 125,724,301. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
