JPMORGAN EMERGING MARKETS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

On 29 February 2016, JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc purchased into Treasury 100,000 Ordinary shares at 527.55 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 4,215,149 ordinary shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 128,148,376. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
