JPMORGAN EMERGING MARKETS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

On 15 July 2016, JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc purchased into Treasury 91,312 Ordinary shares at 661.62 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 6,342,228 ordinary shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 126,021,297. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
