JPMORGAN EMERGING MARKETS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

On 21 March 2016, JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc purchased into Treasury 160,392 Ordinary shares at 562.64 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 5,150,025 ordinary shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 127,213,500. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
