JPMORGAN EMERGING MARKETS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

On Friday 07 December 2012, JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc purchased into Treasury 380,719 Ordinary shares at 568.38 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 1,736,393 ordinary shares in treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of treasury shares is 120,432,423. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
