JPMORGAN EMERGING MARKETS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

On Friday 9 November 2012, JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc purchased into Treasury 223,686 Ordinary shares at 556.99 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 884,687 ordinary shares in treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of treasury shares is 121,282,764. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
