JPMORGAN EMERGING MARKETS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

On Friday 2 November 2012, JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc purchased into Treasury 397,666 Ordinary shares at 552 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 661,001 ordinary shares in treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of treasury shares is 121,506,450. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
