JPMORGAN EMERGING MARKETS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

On Friday 11^th November, JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc today purchased into Treasury 70,000 Ordinary shares at 515.00 pence per share.

Following the transaction the remaining shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 114,329,029.

The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
