CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 366 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a certificated Subscription shareholder.

The shares in issue, excluding shares held in Treasury, following this notification are 114,404,058 Ordinary shares and 17,959,467 Subscription shares.
