Fourth quarterly interim dividend

The Directors have declared that a fourth quarterly interim dividend of 2.50
pence per share for the year ended 31st December 2001 will be paid on 1st March
2002 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 8th February
2002.

This payment will bring the total dividend for the year to 31st December 2001 to
8.50 pence (2000: 7.80 pence), an increase of 8.9% over the previous year.
