EXERCISE OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Asian Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 15,010,608 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of uncertificated subscription shareholders. 

The shares in respect of certificated subscription shareholders will be issued on 16th April 2010.

The shares in issue following this notification are 178,792,442 Ordinary shares and 12,455,517 Subscription shares.
