The Company announces that it has today purchased 249,480 ordinary shares into Treasury at 369.82 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 23,830,706 shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 257,803,204. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
