James Halstead plc, the manufacturer and international distributor of flooring,
today announces the acquisition of the business and assets of Falck Design AB
based in Gothenburg, Sweden.



Established 30 years ago, Falck Design is a well respected distributor of
flooring, focused in recent years on luxury tiles.  Exporting its branded ranges
around Scandinavia and the Baltic States, Falck complements and consolidates the
Group's activities in the Nordic region and continues the Group's policy of
growth in its continental flooring distribution network.
