Ubisense VeroTrack^® Gas Leak Detection Software Selected by Three North American Utilities

Denver, CO - Ubisense Inc., a subsidiary of Ubisense Group plc ("Ubisense" or the "Company") (LSE:UBI), has successfully deployed its VeroTrack® gas leak detection solution at three North American utilities.

The three sales in the Geospatial Division are the first of the Ubisense VeroTrack product following the successful integration of the InMaps acquisition made in September 2011.

Ubisense VeroTrack is an automated surveying solution that uses GPS technology to capture real-time gas leak survey data. The solution reduces the cost associated with performing regularly required surveys for gas distribution and transmission pipeline networks. With Ubisense VeroTrack, companies can track surveyed facilities and gas leaks in real-time in the field ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

In total, the three North American utilities will use Ubisense VeroTrack to survey more than 11,500 miles of natural gas distribution and transmission pipeline covering 92,000 square miles.

Ubisense VeroTrack is available for use on handheld devices and laptop computers, and works with major gas detectors to automatically capture gas concentration as facilities are surveyed. The solution provides an auditable record of each survey and integrates with back-office systems.
