Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 14 February 2017 it purchased 140,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at a price of 221.86p per share. The highest price paid per ordinary share was 222p and the lowest price paid was 221.5p. These shares will be cancelled. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 233,905,604 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 45,698,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 188,207,495.
