Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 29 February 2016 it purchased 2,698,390 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 155.05p per share. The highest price paid per ordinary share was 159.74p and the lowest price paid was 154.75p.  These shares will be cancelled. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 247,443,739 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 45,698,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 201,745,630.
