Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 18 September 2015 it purchased 950,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 144.34p per share. The highest price paid per ordinary share was 145.5p and the lowest price paid was 144.0p.  These shares will be cancelled. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 260,855,373 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 45,698,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 215,157,264.
