Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 5 September 2014 it purchased 565,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 151.78p per share. The highest price paid per ordinary share was 154.5p and the lowest price paid was 151.5p.  These shares will be cancelled. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 266,315,373 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 45,698,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 220,617,264.
