Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 18 July 2014 it purchased 1,240,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 147.69p per share. The highest price paid per ordinary share was 147.75p and the lowest price paid was 147.25p.  These shares will be cancelled. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 267,443,373 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 45,698,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 221,745,264.
