Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 14 March 2014 it purchased 3,580,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at a price of 152.0p per share. These shares will be cancelled. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 269,498,373 ordinary shares.  The Company is holding 45,698,109 ordinary shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 223,800,264.
