Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 05 July 2013 it purchased 880,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 130.11p per share. The highest price paid per ordinary share was 131p and the lowest price paid was 129.75p.  These shares will be held in Treasury. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 324,509,373 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 83,565,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 240,944,264.
