Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 25 November 2011 it purchased 500,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 96p per share. These shares will be held in Treasury.

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 324,509,373 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 29,056,435 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 295,452,938.
