ITE Group plc ('ITE')


On 26 June 2007 ITE acquired 115,000 of its own ordinary shares of 1p each at a
price of 170.38p per share. These shares will be held in Treasury.

Following the purchase, ITE holds 3,130,000 of its ordinary shares in Treasury
and has a total of 255,486,641 ordinary shares (excluding shares held in
Treasury) in issue.
