The Company has today received a notification from Barclays PLC ('Barclays')
advising that Barclays has a notifiable interest in 27,174,422 Ordinary shares
of 10 pence each in the Company (representing 3.0972% of the issued Ordinary
share capital of the Company).

The notification was issued pursuant to Sections 198 to 202 of the Companies Act
1985 and was dated 29 November 2006.

At the time of their last such notification (released on 22 November 2006)
Barclays no longer held a notifiable interest in the issued Ordinary share
capital of the Company at that date.
