                             HOLDING(S) IN COMPANY

The Company yesterday received a notification from Barclays PLC ('Barclays')
advising that Barclays no longer had a notifiable interest in the issued
ordinary share capital of the Company.

This notification was issued pursuant to Part VI of the Companies Act, 1985 and
was dated 17 January 2007.

The Company has today received a notification from Barclays advising that
Barclays has a notifiable interest in 27,363,156 ordinary shares of 10p each in
the Company (representing 3.12% of the issued ordinary share capital of the
Company).

The second notification was issued pursuant to Part VI of the Companies Act,
1985 and was dated 18 January 2007.

At the time of their last such notification (released on 1 December 2006)
Barclays held 27,174,422 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company
(representing 3. 0972% of the issued share capital as at that date).
