Publication of Prospectus

Further to the Company's announcement on 6 November 2009 in relation to its financial results for the year ended 31 August 2009 and its intention to issue new shares, the Company announces that a prospectus relating to a placing of ordinary shares to raise up to £30 million was approved by the UK Listing Authority (the "UKLA") and published today (the "Prospectus").

The Prospectus will be available for inspection at the UKLA's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at Financial Services Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS.

In addition, the Prospectus will be available to view on the Company's website (www.hendersonfareastincome.com). Copies of the Prospectus will be available from the registered office of the Company at Liberte House, 19-23 La Motte Street, St. Helier, Jersey JE2 4SY and from the offices of Henderson Global Investors, 201 Bishopsgate, London EC2M 3AE.
