On 17 November 2000, Holidaybreak plc received notification from CGNU plc
whose registered office is St Helen's, 1 Undershaft, London EC3P 3DQ, that as
at 16 November 2000, GCNU plc held an interest in 5,964,678 ordinary 5p shares
in Holidaybreak plc (13.02% of the issued share capital of 45,809,388 ordinary
5p shares).
