Directorate change - appointment of non-executive director.
The Board of Holidaybreak, the European specialist holiday group, announces the appointment of Chris Stephens as a non-executive director of the board with effect from 1 July 2008. Chris will succeed Sally Martin as Chairman of the remuneration committee when Sally steps down from the board on 16 July 2008.
Chris has held high level positions with a number of companies including DHL, Vivendi and Rentokil Initial plc and brings with him extensive strategic planning experience from a wide range of industries. Chris is the senior independent non-executive director of WSP Group plc, an international business supplying specialist management and integrated services in the built and natural environment, listed on the London Stock Exchange. Until 2004 Chris was the Group Human Resources Director of Exel plc (now DHL), the global logistics company.
Other than the directorship of WSP Group plc referred to above, there is no information concerning Chris Stephens which requires disclosure under Rule LR 9.6.13 R of the UK Listing Authority Listing Rules.
