Holidaybreak plc announces that Carl Michel has today purchased 5,000 ordinary
shares in the Company at 675p per share.

Following this transaction, Mr Michel has notified his interest in the share
capital of the Company in accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.2. (R) and section
324 of the Companies Act as follows:
