                           Director/PDMR shareholding


Holidaybreak plc announces that Robert Baddeley, a Director, has today exercised
options under the Holidaybreak plc 2001 Savings Related Share Option Scheme to
subscribe for 983 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company at an exercise price
of 343p. Mr Baddeley subsequently gifted those shares to Kathleen Baddeley.


Following the exercise Mr Baddeley has notified his interest in the share
capital of the Company in accordance with DTR 3.1.2.(R) and section 324 of the
Companies Act as follows:
