Mr R R Spinney, Chairman of Hammerson plc, exercised options on 5 April 2002
over:

  • 5,500 ordinary 25p shares at 345p per share;
  • 9,000 ordinary 25p shares at 456.5p per share;
  • 47,529 ordinary 25p shares at 528p per share; and
  • 99,322 ordinary 25p shares at 379p per share.

Mr Spinney then sold the resultant shares at 573.2395p per share on 5 April
2002.

Following this exercise, Mr Spinney holds no further options.
