The Great Universal Stores PLC has received notification that Sir Alan Rudge
(a director of the Company) has today purchased 2,450 Ordinary shares of 25p
each in the Company at a price of £4.115 per share. Following this purchase, Sir
Alan now holds 3,950 shares in the Company.
