Director Appointment

Epicure Qatar Equity Opportunities Plc (AIM:EQEO), is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Benedict as a non-executive director with effect Friday 5 November 2010.

Neil Paton Benedict (aged 62) is based in the USA with over 30 years experience of financial markets. He was formerly a Managing Director at Salomon Brothers, where he was Head of International Capital Markets, and, prior to that, the founder and Head of the worldwide Currency Swaps group.  Neil was also a Managing Director at Dillon Read and helped establish their Tokyo office. He is currently a Managing Director of Intelligent Edge Advisors, a New York advisory firm.  Mr Benedict is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Commenting on his appointment, David von Simson, Chairman said "I am delighted that someone of Neil Benedict's stature has joined our board.  He brings a wealth of Wall Street experience earned in senior positions within top tier investment banks, and an extensive network in the US institutional market, that will serve us well as we move to the next stages of the Company's development."
