                      Change in Accounting Reference Date

Gresham Computing plc, provider of enterprise software and solutions,
announces that it is changing in its accounting reference date. This is so
that its financial year is realigned with its two largest customers, IBM and
Tivoli. Accordingly, the accounting period which began on 1st November 2000
will be fourteen months and will now end on 31 December 2001. The Company will
announce preliminary results for that period in March 2002.
