                              Interests in shares

The Company was notified today by J.P. Morgan Chase & Co that, following the
acquisition of 44,016 ordinary shares in the Company that on 5 December 2003,
the total number of ordinary shares held by it's subsidiary J.P. Morgan Fleming
Asset Management (UK) Limited, in its capacity as discretionary investment
manager for various funds, in the Company is 5,940,368 representing 12.05% of
the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
