AGM Statement

Talent Group PLC 24 February 2004 To be embargoed until 2.55pm 24th February 2004 TALENT GROUP PLC ('Talent' or 'the Company') AGM statement The following is the text of a statement being made at the Company's Annual General Meeting today 'Last year was a year of investment in the business, the benefits of which are beginning to come through in the current year. Following on from its success in delivering two new childrens' entertainment series, one for CBBC and one for Disney Europe, Talent Kids is developing a number of further series and formats which it hopes will be commissioned later in 2004. In addition, the Talent Entertainment development team is currently working on a number of series with major broadcasters. Real progress is being made in achieving our domestic ambitions. The Board has reviewed its overseas opportunities and continues to feel optimistic about the potential for North America and Japan. These are the two largest television markets and ones where Talent has over time developed good relationships. I am pleased to announce that in Canada we have formed a strategic alliance with Amberwood Entertainment - a leading independent live action and animation producer - to develop series for the North American and International markets. In Japan, Talent has been involved in the production of the first 'Test the Nation' on TV Asahi, working with local production company TV Man Union and has recently signed an option to take 'Test the Nation' into Korea. In addition, Talent is currently working on a major documentary series for another leading Japanese broadcaster, intended to commence transmission in the second half of 2004.'
