Notification of correction of information concerning transactions by connected person of Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities

Pursuant to the Company's obligations under Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1, Glencore International plc notifies that on 11 November 2011 FR Galaxy Holdings S.à r.l. (FR) notified the Company that:

1.     on 3 November 2011, FR sent a notification to the Company stating that FR holds a total of 146,247,165 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company (Shares), and that ECP Galaxy Holdings S.à r.l. (ECP), an affiliate of FR, holds a total of 9,749,811 Shares;

2.     due to an inadvertent error,  FR's notification dated 3 November 2011 overstated the total number of Shares held by FR and ECP.  In fact, FR holds a total of 114,372,165 Shares and ECP holds a total of 9,624,811 Shares; and

3.     FR confirms that it in addition has an economic interest only in a further 31,875,000 Shares and ECP has an economic interest only in a further 2,125,000 Shares, in each case pursuant to swap arrangements which had been notified to the Company on 12 September 2011.

FR is a connected person of Mr. William Macaulay, a Director and person discharging managerial responsibilities of Glencore International plc.
