Genus announces that the following documents have today been sent to shareholders:

• Notice of Annual General Meeting

• Proxy From

The Annual Report and Accounts and Notice of Annual General Meeting are available on the Genus website at www.genusplc.com and these documents and the Proxy Form will be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility at The Financial Services Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS.

The 2009 Annual General Meeting of the Company will be held at Buchanan Communications Limited, 45 Moorfields, London EC2Y 9AE on Thursday 12 November 2009 at 2.30pm. A summary of the proposed resolutions is set out in the Notice of Annual General Meeting and in the Directors Report of the 2009 Annual Report & Accounts.
