Games Workshop was informed on 30 March 2004 that Standard Life Investments sold
63,457 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company on behalf of Standard Life
Group ('Standard Life') on 29 March 2004. Following the purchase, Standard Life
holds 1,170,750 ordinary 5p shares in the Company, representing approximately
3.8 per cent. of the issued share capital of Games Workshop. These shares are
registered in the name of Stanlife Nominees Limited.
