Games Workshop was informed on 29 August 2003 that Standard Life Investments
purchased 25,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company on behalf of Standard
Life Group ('Standard Life') on 28 August 2003. Following the purchase, Standard
Life holds 1,519,254 ordinary 5p shares in the Company, representing
approximately 5.08% of the issued share capital of Games Workshop. These shares
are registered in the name of Stanlife Nominees Limited.
